The Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programme is an intensive coaching curriculum aimed at ensuring adequate exposure to fundamentals of concepts and preparation of eligible students for University admission. It is also very a good head-start for University work.

The Pre-degree programme is designed to prepare candidates for admission into degree programmes in all disciplines of the University while the Foundation programme is a 10-month intensive coaching designed to prepare candidates for JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) examinations for Direct entry admission into the 200-level in any university in Nigeria and some partner universities abroad. Candidates for either of the two programmes must possess a minimum of 5 credits in 5 different subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at a maximum of two sittings. The programmes normally runs for two (2) semesters within about ten (10) calendar months.

The JUPEB Programme is designed to prepare candidates for external examination conducted by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB). The following subjects are taught: English Language, Christian Religious Studies, French, History, Igbo, Literature in English, Music, Visual Arts, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics. Each student would be required to offer a maximum of four (4) subjects.
